We have received some new Kick Off fanart! This time it’s from Stef Gaines, Stina and Claine! Click on the images to see a bigger version.

Swedish comic artist Stef Gaines gave us her version of Andreas, with shojo bubbles! And she also drew a potrait of her self. Andreas says “The only problem is that I’m dead.” and Stef replies “Problem? I thinks it’s rather cute…” Ain’t it cute?! At day Stef is a very productive comic artist working on her fansine Anima.

Stina made us this funny version of Krille, Meja and Chiko! Stina bought Kick Off 1 at UppCon at came back the next day with this lovely fanart. Poor Chiko…

Here’s a boy’s love version of Kick Off made by the Swedish artist Claine! You can see more work of Claine on her DeviantArt page.

The last day of UppCon! People were tired but they still hadn’t got enough of it. Everybody was extra nice to and some even a bit sad because they were soon to leave. We did our best to contribute to a last happy moment of UppCon!

Early on the third day we received a Kick Off fanart by Stina (who bought our book the day before). We were so happy Stina made such effort to show us love. Thank you so much Stina! The picture was lovely!

We held a last seminar that day. This time Yosh gave some advices on how you can get published in Sweden. It was very appreciated!Â

Many visitors were waiting for us to sign Kick Off after the seminar. It was only two hours left before UppCon would close. Here you can see Yosh signing one of her books to three very cute decora girls.

OBJECTION! You just can’t resist Pheonix Wright.

Check out the long line to the escalators! UppCon was closing and people have to stand in line to leave.

Is that a bird? A plane? No, it is… What is it? What are the Yokajs looking at? Nobody knows. Anyways, check out the beautiful wall of Yokaj macot designs! It was a new record of participants this year! Thank you for making this beautiful wall together with us.Â
Summary
UppCon 09 was just as fun as we expected! It was the first time we brought our manga series Kick Off to a concention. We are happy to have met old and new readers and we are happy you have showed us such interest. Even though people were tired the third and last day, you try to show a happy face.
Thanks
We would like to start thanking UppCon and its crew for having us at their concention. We also would like to thank our contact staff Daniel, Samantha and Hampus for all the help they gave us! We would also like to thank the representatives from IT school in Uppsala who helped us with the tecknical stuff at the seminars. And we would like to thank all conventions people who came to have a chat with us! It was really nice talking to you guys. Thanks to all of you who showed interest in Kick Off! Also thanks to all of you who participated in our Yokaj mascot design contest! Thanks everybody for another great convention experience. See you next time!

The second day started out with a surprise - Yosh and Kajfa was greeted by a fully crowded room when they entered the seminar room. It was so full that some people couldn’t get in. The seminar of the day was a repeat of yesterday’s seminar - The making of Kick Off, Yokaj Studio’s first manga series . We also had some small problems at the beginning of the day. Our tables were gone and some visitors had to wait until UppCon could get us some new tables. We would like to thank UppCon for helping us with the tables and the visitors who patiently waited for us.

On the second day we introduced a new Yokaj Studio merchandise - the Kick Off single with the theme song of Kick Off and the official Kick Off 1 movie trailer. All our singles were sold out the same day! It’s incredible! You can listen to the song and watch the trailer on Kick Off’s official site.

Photo from the early seminar. The room was fully crowded and people had to sit on the floor. Thank you guys for coming!

YMCK had a concert later that day. It was greatly appreciated of course! Kajfa and Yosh took the turns to watch the tables while Soya and DoraJen went to the concert!

Just like last time we were attacked by the Peppercake Ninjas without noticing them! It was just there, all of a sudden. A shuriken shaped peppercake with a message from the ninjas. We never ever get to thank them for the tasty attack. Next year we will keep our eyes open! We will meet again Peppercake Ninjas.Â

A view from the other side. See the wall with a lot of white papers? That’s the Yokaj mascot design sheets. The mascot wall was growing every day with new funny and cool designs!

Yosh likes Domo-kun. One of the visitors borrowed Yosh her newly bought Domo-kun.
