Sneak peek: Making of “Meja in the ghost hunter’s hall” part1

It’s confirmed! The puppet show play which will be a spinoff of our awarded Swedish manga series Kick Off will have the title “Meja i spökjägarnas sal” (eng: Meja in the ghost hunter’s hall) and will have it’s premiere 19th February 2010 in the Stockholm’s City theater in Sweden. Even though we are involved in the creating process (we contribute to the manuscript, scenography and PR-material) we still get very excited whenever we see the progress in the theater’s workshop. And that’s why we will be updating the blog a little now and then with some sneakpeak pictures from the workshop until the premiere. This time we give you Chiko the hamster!

Kay Tinbäck Du Rées, a pupeteer and puppet maker, holds up hamster Chiko which she made recently. Kay will also be the one playing Chiko! Which suits her very well since she’s very energetic and fun.

Are we seeing double? Or is it Chiko’s evil twin?

Haha! No. It’s supposed to be two Chiko puppets. One who looks more frienly and another one that looks more aggressive (the way Chiko is when he senses the precense of ghosts).
That was all from the theater’s workshop for this time! Please check our blog a little now and then to see the progress of “Meja in the ghost hunter’s hall”.
